Every effort is taken to give an accurate impression of the yarns appearance, but each monitor and person processes color differently. Due to our dyeing process, repeatable colourways may differ from one batch to the next, even though the same recipe is used. All of our yarn is thoroughly rinsed then finished in a wool wash bath. However, it is normal for hand-dyed yarn, especially highly saturated skeins, to lightly bleed the first couple washes.
Each skein of Fremont Tweed is machine washable, but we recommended you hand wash your project in cool water, then lay it flat to dry. If you’d like to wash and dry your project by machine, we recommend working up a swatch to use as a test, as every washer and dryer treats your fabric a little different.
